Just wanted to add this to the overall Unbound stuff. There is a book that I backed and was affected by all this circumstance. Now the authors of this book (as soon as announcement made by unbound) put out coms to all their backers/and online explaining they were talking to unbound/boundless and not to worry as all backers would get their copies etc, tier rewards would be acknowledged and fulfilled, they may be slightly different, but everyone who put their money into the book would NOT have to pay again or loose out etc. They have now just this past week done a further update confirming the publish date, the fact that all backers will get their copies and also have come up with further rewards for those that have backed. Now my point here is, they have been open with their backers and have stated many times that Unbound/Boundless were very good in getting things sorted and streamlined to the point it didn’t adversely effect any backers negatively. They have obviously been chasing down and working with Boundless for the best outcome, but at no time have they said boundless were unreasonable or not helpful. If anything, the opposite. So anyone who tries to put out a false narrative of ‘Boundless have screwed me, haven’t helped me, I’ve tried to sort it, but they never come back to me etc’ is out and out lying. Also any author who states they have ‘taken back their rights to the book’, is within their rights to do so. But they will then have to find a way to either refund every single backer who put their money into their project or send them a free copy of the book when it is released. Boundless are bound by GDPR regulations so cant just give out backers personal names and addresses to authors. Basically when you ask people for their money and you run into a problem, you do everything you can to solve it, like the example given, you don’t just blame everyone else and hide under a rock hoping everyone will just forget they gave money in first place. Apologies for length of rant, but seeing an example of an author doing the right thing by their backers recently put it in perspective.
Peter Leigh update; he’s just started his third video company, Pal Productions (6-4-2025).
First was struck off, second one, anytime now.
Barcadia is as good as finished too.
I’m amazed how he’s allowed to run a limited company.

What the ghost book and Sarah’s have in common is they’re bitter pills wrapped in a more palatable sugar coating. Tedious biographies masquerading as pop-culture nostalgia. It’s the most elaborate example of clickbait I’ve ever encountered.
I imagine one has been dropped and the other salvaged because the latter ticks trending neurodiversity boxes. Who cares if they’re genuine or not?
That’s exactly it, mate. I think the book by, ahem, “Louis” will tick more boxes. It’s still interminable shit, but Gannon’s book offers nothing to anyone. It’s just “I liked Ghostbusters”. Who fucking didn’t?
I discovered recently that Paul is yet another grifter with a pseudo-suicide story. What a surprise.
He was living in cramped accommodation working a temp job that didn’t make him leap out of bed in the morning bursting with glee and the comedy gig wasn’t rocking anyone’s socks off. That’s it. That’s the sob story. His thoughts turned to suicide.
My jaw is permanently dislocated, thanks very much.
My understanding of the whole editing thing is that the “book” was handed in on May 2024. Unbound returned it saying that half needed removed and they weren’t going to help anymore. So he sat on the book until Unbound dropped him and it’s all the fault of everyone else.
That reads like it, yes. His book hasn’t been carried over to the new business and he’s raging. LOL.

Apologies, my initial post wasn’t clear. I saw the post on youtube and thought it was hilarious and could only be produced by a professional victim. You did guess correctly that the author owns a part of semen stained overalls.
Was a second comment,
“it’s honestly appalling. My book sat at their offices for a year and I worry that they knew about Unbounds administration and knew the book was never getting released… but they took all that money, if i can get my data from Unbound, I will be reaching out to all backers to offer them the book digitally or SOME kind of workaround. I’m furious about this and the 40 other abandoned authors are all trying to do right by their supporters.“
Right, lol, well, “shots fired” anyway. More clarity in future, mate! I’m recovering from tumor removal and a gimped side, the medicines are playing havoc with my mental agility :-/
Wow – what a lovely and articulate response from this so called ‘author’ lol. It was so funny – George’s dissection of the post almost made me want to read the book! I can only imagine that the full product would have given the wotsit’s banal offerings a run for their money

LOL quite so, mate, fucking ridiculous.

No worries, appreciate that. Just thought that posting Paul is still being an arse would have been interesting to most people.
oh shit… you poor bastard. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

That author sounds like they’re IN BITS!! ON A SATURDAY!!!
I hope poor George also didn’t get that hilarious response from the ‘author’ on a SATURDAY. He may never recover!
Indeed, mate, thankfully it was yesterday (or maybe the day before)
