Great stuff George – I would agree that Tetris is timeless and one of the best ‘pure’ games ever made, in my view anyway 😊. Have you played Tetris 99 on the switch? It’s basically 99 player Tetris battle royal style – it’s insanely addictive and has the usual Nintendo polish 😉👌
yes mate but my switch is hacked so i don’t go online with it, so it’s not really an ideal way to experience it :-p i wish they’d bring it out on pc too !
not quite mate but it was very good, it’s a different sort of thing, more of a hollywood take on things as opposed to the cardigans and milkbottle glasses approach of micro men, but the “somewhat economical with the truth for the sake of drama and excitement” angle remains pretty much at the same level. there are serious inaccuracies in both things but they’re both good fun i would say !

Thanks for another great video. Don’t like the sound of your mate who liked performing painful “experiments” on people. Bit of a red flag that i’d say.
Tetris was the first and only game my parents ever played. We had it on a wrist watch and would all take turns on it.
Agree that Taron Edgerton is a great actor. I’d never heard of him before but saw him on an Apple TV show (we got a free trial) called Black Bird which is well worth a watch imho.
yes mate i mentioned black bird in another comment here and i was also surprised to see the (up until then) one note goofball actor of “stingray” from cobra kai as the killer in black bird, acting really well. just goes to show that a good actor can truly wear many faces ! if you’ve not seen kingsman have a watch of it mate the first one was great then the prequel the kings man was also good. kingsman 2 was bad. Taron is also great in the film about eddie the eagle edwards and once again turns in a totally different performance. i am glad to see him getting more work he is a good actor and seems like a nice person.

Got dark towards the end there. I really liked the film. Taron? Tarron? Terry, is a fantastic actor and he’s got a lot of on screen charisma so I’m happy that it got the justice it deserved as a film and wasn’t just some trashy Netflix jobby.
yes mate i think he’s a great british actor and he’s very versatile. he has been really good in everything i’ve seen him in, and the last thing i saw him in, black bird, couldn’t have been further from the character he was playing in the tetris film. also the same goes for “stingray” from cobra kai, who played the murderer in black bird and did a really good job, it’s a powerful and creepy performance.

I’ll keep an eye out for that. You’re not wrong though, he’s always giving a good performance.
