i actually watched someone playing it online after i’d played it. i didn’t realise you could dive through the windows and get out onto the rooftops and also get grenades and another shotgun in one of the houses 😮 i will go through it again on the toughest difficulty once i’m done with the playthrough though, as i said i’m playing it on the easiest setting so i’m not having to make people watch me “do trial and error” and die over and over !
Yep – you should definitely loot all of the buildings when the bell goes and all the villages leave the area. The shotgun is a must in the early stages of the game 😊
it seems i started with a shotgun, anyway. i don’t remember that from the original, i remember finding it, so i suppose it’s because i’m on easy mode which, as stated in the video, i’m playing it on for the sake of narrative/cohesion. i don’t want to make people watch me attempt the same bits several times, it’s boring for viewers so i’m playing it more as a narrative adventure. it’s quite weird how much less damage you take and how much more ammo you get, but it’s fine, i’m still enjoying the game and i’ll play it on NAILS difficulty on my own time !
