Here’s a funny thing though George! Just a few days after I mentioned her on here, I had an attempted hack on an account elsewhere I haven’t used for ages. Sat there dormant for 8 years, mention Grotbags and only a few days later there’s a (failed) attempt to hack it. What a weird coincidence, almost as if there’s an army of complete sad acts ready to do her bidding. What an absolute shower!
all my accounts all over the shop got hacked a month or so back and so did some of my mates accounts and he also hands out verbal slammings to these twits online ! coincidence ? who knows !
yes mate i was in hospital for a bit i’m on a new course of much stronger steroids now i was having trouble breathing again but i’ve also been really busy working on something big too and more news on that very soon !
They’ve added Bruce Lee to one of the recent c64 compilation cartridges on Evercade (a low budget handheld and console system here in the uk). They’ve changed the title screen on it etc and it’s now just called ‘Lee’ (with no reference to or images of Bruce Lee). The game is unchanged though. Perhaps something similar could eventually be done with the Master System one? It’s a shame more people can’t play it on the MS because it’s a brill version 😊
that’s a bit cheeky ! still it’s good that it’s out there in some way or another. the programmer of the MS one was quite firm about the rights situation and just wanting to keep it homebrew. however, you can always play it on a flashcart if you own a megadrive or sms with an SD card device of some sort. the rom is still available from here https://www.smspower.org/Homebrew/BruceLee-SMS ALSO if you were really motivated you could ask one of the chinese one-off cart makers on aliexpress to put one together for you then do your own cover etc.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention George – the original is one of my fave speccy games and is the best version in my view (it plays that little bit nippier compared to the other versions). I do prefer the old art style but will check this out. There’s also a great enhanced (unofficial) port on the master system aswell!
yes i tried to work with the chap who did the master system one to bring it out on cartridge but in the end it was going to be legally difficult because of the bruce lee foundation etc but yes mate that version is ace and indeed the zx spectrum version is my favourite of the home computer ones. also, i agree, i do prefer the old art style but it’s what i’m used to. i miss the yawning hippos for sure !

That’s why I don’t use a username I use anywhere else. My passwords are all different and generated. Can’t do much more than that really.
